Choosing better path -To Save Planet

Recently I had an interesting discussion about my favorite topic #globalwarming #climatechange with a good friend on Facebook. Finally, I learned something out of that discussion. He was making a point that "yes there is #globalwarming and #climatechange which is caused by humans. But that problem is exaggerated by some business people as there is a lot of money to be made within that industry".

Yes, there is money to be made for sure, not small amounts but big money to be made. Matter of the fact that in every industry, businesses are there to make money. But organizations and companies can make money in different ways. Let's check out what options we have as an individual or organization? 

1st way: I say this is a wrong way, in which people will not have empathy or gilt of how they make money. In the process of making money, they might destroy others life and nature around. Consuming all natural resources which are limited in availability. Few examples: extensive use of coal, Gasoline (Petrol), Methane gas for transportation,  generation of electricity, heating many more like this (they might be good options when there are not a lot of innovation around different fuels). Another way is creating artificial demand for products and services with the name of discounted sales of festival sales to make more revenue in business, and those extra products are not utilized for their full life cycle which consumed a lot of resources while building them. 

2nd way: I consider this as a responsible way or right way, in this without causing any damage to the environment we can do business and live our lives as well as make money. In this case, only a lot of sustainable living companies are coming into the picture. These companies are using innovation done over centuries. One good example is old lamps which consume lots of power when compared to LED bulbs who's life is much longer than regular bulbs. Using LED bulbs, we can generate more lighting compared to traditional lighting with less power. Not only that these lights tend to be less warm than usual, so it’s beneficial for us as we don’t need to use a lot of cooling system to control temperature. 

A couple of other examples: I might sound rude, but they are facts. We all have the option to chose any of those approaches. 

Using public transportation, we are not only reducing the traffic problems but also mitigate over-consumption of resources to make extra cars, transporting them to different areas with the name of economic growth.

One more thing is when we live our life without damaging we are not accelerating global warming. Also, we preserve resources for generations to come. We have to choose to things in a right way, so you decide. I committed to building better tomorrow for generations to come. 

There are always better ways where we can adapt to produce less or zero waste. Reduce the negative impact we are creating on the plant. I know a lot of people don’t believe in #GlobalWarming and also they think that this has been created by a few rich corporates to make money. But think about it if we are producing more #Co2 and cutting the trees which observe that Co2 what is going to happen that extra Co2 stay in the atmosphere and that impact our health? 

• Paper Cup Vs. Reusable cup
• Plastic bottle Vs. Reusable bottle. 
• Personal Car Vs. Public Transportation (Carpool is another option if you don’t have access to proper public transportation).  
• Opting for Paperless bill Vs. Paper billing.

There are like this many options available to us when we look around. So choose the right one to contribute for better plant and a better environment.

Finally, it's not an organization, but individuals make a big difference when there is no demand for products companies don't make them. So make right chooice for better planet.
